35 years of trust. A website that keeps it quiet.
You asked about our permit list. Before we talk about it, I wanted to show you what I found when I looked at the place those leads would land: your website. Some of it is genuinely good. Some of it is quietly costing you jobs.
Somebody did real groundwork in September. We keep all of it.
All 33 pages on the site were rebuilt and re-dated on September 22. It is fast, clean and well organised. This is a better starting point than most firms in your trade have, so the job is not a rescue. It is turning a good library into a lead machine.
Google Lighthouse mobile: 99 performance, 100 accessibility, 100 best practices, 100 SEO. 1.9s to the main content, zero layout shift.
15 guides, from the Florida BDA Guide to county pages for Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade, each with article schema. This is the content buyers search for.
Every page has a unique title, a meta description of the right length and one H1. There is an XML sitemap and an llms.txt for AI search.
We tested as the AI crawlers and as Googlebot. Nothing at the edge, in robots.txt or in the headers blocks them.
Google Analytics 4 (G-FD1PXJVT6K) is on all 33 pages, and Search Console is verified by DNS, so it survives any rebuild.
447 backlinks from 306 referring domains. That is trust you have earned over decades, and it carries straight over.
Your best proof is on page four.
The homepage says "Expert solutions delivered with care" over a stock skyline, in 276 words. Everything that would actually win a property manager or a GC is buried on inner pages, or in a PDF.
What you have
- The Breakers: 22 departments on one IP-linked Motorola system
- Town of Davie Fire Rescue, a partner for 20+ years
- A signed reference letter from the Broward Sheriff's Office
- One Bal Harbour calling your support "world class"
- Motorola Channel Partner, NFPA member, 112 years of combined team experience
- Three named people a buyer can actually call
- The BDA Doctor, a genuinely good brand for the recurring work
What the homepage shows
- A dark skyline and a slogan any firm could use
- Four stock-style people photos instead of your own work
- No client names, no projects, no team, no numbers
- A "Contact us" button, and nothing else to do
- A footer flyer that still warns about deadlines in January 2024 and January 2025
Twelve specific findings, every one fixable.
Each one was checked against the live site on November 2. Red costs you leads today. Amber is credibility. None of it is hard to fix, and the concept site at the end of this report already fixes every one.
| Finding | Where | Impact | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| No way to qualify a lead. One generic name, email, phone, message form. | /contact/ | Leads | A four-step compliance check: need, building, county, deadline, role |
| sales@ address published on every page | All 33 pages | Leads | A routed contact form, so every inquiry is tracked and nothing sits in a shared inbox |
| No fast path for a failed inspection or a BDA alarm, the most urgent buyer you have | Sitewide | Leads | A "failed or alarming" route that flags urgent jobs for a same-day call |
| No chat, no booking, nothing after 5pm | Sitewide | Leads | An assistant that answers from your own guides and takes the details 24/7 |
| Nothing that brings back annual-test and recertification work | Sitewide | Revenue | A due-date checker that turns every past install into a reminder and a booking |
| Footer flyer sells January 2024 and January 2025 deadlines | All 33 pages | Credibility | Retire it, replace with the current annual-testing message |
| Homepage title is just "Signal Communications" (21 characters) | / | Search | "Public Safety BDA Systems in Florida | Signal Communications" |
| Homepage has 276 words | / | Search | Projects, process, proof and FAQ on the page that ranks |
| No LocalBusiness or Organization schema on 18 core pages | Home, services, about, contact, case studies | Search + AI | LocalBusiness, people, service area and FAQ schema |
| 4 of 8 homepage images have no alt text | / | ADA | Describe every image; we scan before handover |
| Dark theme, while your own print brand is white and red | Sitewide | Brand | Bring the site in line with your own white and red print brand |
| Social grade F, no video, no motion | Sitewide | Brand | A hero film, project stories and short clips for LinkedIn |
Speed is not the problem. Conversion is.
We ran Google Lighthouse, the engine behind PageSpeed Insights, on a simulated mid-range phone. Your site passes. Then we held the concept to the same bar, with a hero film and all the motion, to prove we would not trade speed for looks.

Four Boca Raton jobs, minutes from your office
Chalfonte Condo, the Aletto office tower, Mizner Grand Condo and EIP Fountain Square all show other firms on the permit. That is the work this list and this website are built to win.
The first thing I would ask you
Public permits often list the electrical contractor rather than the integrator. If you pull permits under a partner, your real numbers are hidden in this view and we would add that firm's name to the search. If you do not, this table is exactly the opportunity.
Gustavo Mitchell
25 years in digital advertising and media. Media buyer on Google and Meta. Hands on, not an account manager handing your work to someone junior.
I believe in earning it every single month.
Not a hundred accounts nobody can move.
No equity, ever. Partnership means trust, not a piece of your company.
I have never been able to walk into a business without running the numbers in my head. It is just how I am wired. I look at a building and I am counting floors and wondering where the radio dies.
Picture a property manager on a Friday at 4pm with a Fire Marshal's notice in hand. She searches "BDA failed inspection Broward", lands on your excellent guide, reads all of it, and then finds a generic contact form and an email address. She fills in three other forms too. The firm that calls her back first gets the job.
That is the whole thing, really. The gap between a good firm and what it earns is almost never the engineering. It is everything around the engineering, and the owner is the last person with time to see it, because the owner is the one doing the work.
I have spent twenty-five years learning which of those levers move revenue. I have a bench behind me: developers, designers, video, automation, and a full-time person in China for sourcing, negotiation and quality control if you ever need it.
You are the expert at keeping first responders on the air. Let me be the expert at the marketing. You concentrate on the craft. I take care of everything else.
What the new site does that this one does not.
Every piece below is built and working in the concept. Each one exists to do one of three things: win a job, bring back an annual test, or make a stranger trust you faster.
Need, building type and county, deadline, then contact and role. A GC with a CO date and a condo board with a notice arrive pre-sorted.
Urgent jobs flagged for a same-day callThe sales@ address comes off the site. Every message lands in a CRM with a source, a topic and a timestamp, and nothing gets lost in a shared inbox.
Every lead tracked to the page it came fromAnswers BDA questions at 9pm from your own content, takes the details and stays strictly on Signal's work. It is labelled as a concept demo in the preview.
Nights and weekends stop leakingEnter the last test month, see the days left and book. It is the front door to the BDA Doctor's recurring revenue, and it feeds reminders.
Turns installs into annual contractsIts own section, a "five failure points" diagram and a direct path from "my BDA is alarming" to a booked evaluation.
Wins systems other firms installedA hero film, a live grid test that turns red cells green as you scroll, an animated signal path, a project tracker, and The Breakers, Davie and BSO up front.
Proof on the homepage, not page fourHow the permit list and the site work together
Every new, stalled and due-for-test BDA permit in your counties, weekly.
The right page goes to the right owner: new construction, failed systems, annual tests.
They land on the BDA Doctor, the due-date checker or a county guide, not a homepage.
Four questions sort them by urgency, building and role before you pick up the phone.
Same-day call, then automatic reminders until it is booked, and every year after.
Pick the one that fits.
Both are real offers. Plenty of good clients start with the first one.
Rebuild the site, hand you the keys
We build the new site, carry over every page and ranking, and hand it over with a minimum hosting fee. If you need us later, we are there.
- Every one of the 33 pages carried over
- Compliance check, contact form and due-date tool
- Schema, alt text and accessibility scan before launch
Hand over the marketing entirely
The site, SEO, the permit list and the outreach, email and text follow-up, Google and Meta ads, the automations, and steady improvement every month. One person owns the whole growth engine and sits down with you as often as it takes.
- Month to month, no contracts, ever
- Ten to fifteen clients, hands on
- Everything we build stays yours
- I will more than pay for myself
Nothing you have is lost.
We already have a complete offline copy of all 33 pages, every image and every spec sheet, captured November 2. Every URL keeps its address or gets a permanent redirect. Every guide, county page and case study comes across in the new look, with the metadata it is missing. Your Google Analytics property, history and Search Console verification stay exactly where they are.

A good start, honestly.
Not to be unkind about it. It is fast and it is tidy. But this is the first thing a property manager with a Fire Marshal's notice sees:
- A slogan instead of an answer
- No project, client or person in sight
- One button, to a generic form
- A flyer about deadlines that passed in 2024 and 2025
